To achieve the recommended setup, begin by weighing the paddle you received and then follow the below weight guidelines based on your type of paddle:
- REACH: Add 0.6 oz of weighted tape to the lower-middle region of your paddle (from about half an inch below the bottom ribbon to where it just starts to curve at the top).
- PURE: Add 0.4 oz starting just below the bottom ribbon. I would recommend cutting the tape into 4 pieces and then stacking two on top of each other so that it doesn't go too high up the paddle.
- PURE LH: Add 0.6 oz to the lower region doing the same thing as with the pure.
